1. Do you teach English to school-goers or students?

Yes. At the moment we teach Young Learners from ages 7 to 18. There is the Beginner’s Series for those who have very little background in English and the Excel Series for those who intend to do better academically in English. The Excel series also provides a springboard for those needing a little help in transitioning from high school English to tertiary English.
There are also English Camps for school-goers during school holidays and working or corporate adults.

2. I would like to take up a Beginner’s English course. How do I know which level is appropriate for me?

You can fill up the Enquiry Form and our Course Advisor will get in touch with you. Alternatively, you can also participate in BEAT, LHoL’s Basic English Aptitude Test. The results tabulated will assist our staff to identify the level best suits you.

3. Do you have English lessons for Adults?

Yes. We have English courses designed for Young Adults (above 18 years of age) . There is the Beginner’s Series for those who have very little background in English and the Corporate Series for those who need to thrive in the working world. Our Corporate Series have been well received by corporations in local governmental agencies and multi-nationals.

4. Can I have a training programme tailored to my corporate needs?

Yes. You can drop us an email and our Course Advisor will contact you shortly after. If you would like to provide more information on your requirements, simply take a few minutes to fill up EPNA (English Proficiency Needs Assessment) and email back to us.

5. Can I be taught on a one-on-one basis?

We do not encourage one-on-one basis classes although it may seem you are getting 100% of the instructor’s time. This is a language course which requires a lot of interaction and engagement in order to test and practice your newly acquired skills. Rest assured our classes are run at optimal numbers in order to encourage the right team dynamics for effective learning and development.

6. Is there a language centre in Kuala Lumpur or any other parts of Malaysia?

At present, our language centre is currently located in Penang only. We are in the process of setting up more facilities across the Peninsular. For corporate training, we have special arrangements with local training facilities and hoteliers to host our programmes which typically call for a more relaxed, out-of-office atmosphere.

7. Does your English Camp take care of our food and lodging?

Certainly! That is why it is a camp! Parents can have peace of mind when they send their kids to our English Camp. We provide a healthy diet prepared by trusted sources and accommodation that is safe and comfortable. There will be chaperons round the clock to make sure the kids are out of harm’s way!

8. How do I pay my fees?

You pay your Course Fees at the start of the programme or course. We have a Cashier’s Counter that opens from 9am to 5pm Mondays to Saturdays (except Public Holidays). We accept cash or bankers’ cheque.

As for corporate programmes, we typically accept a 50% initial payment upon signing of agreement for our services and the remaining 50% when the programme commences.
